Bows are one of the five weapon types available in Genshin Impact. Not only do they deal solid mid-ranged attacks, but their long-ranged attacks deal elemental DMG through its charged attacks.
With its high ATK and considerable CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG stats, the Skyward Harp is one of the best bows available in Genshin Impact.
Here’s what players need to know about this 5-star weapon, its stats, ascension materials and how one can acquire the weapon.
Genshin Impact: What is the Skyward Harp?
The Skyward Harp is a 5-star bow, which resembles a harp, fires music when it's strung. Part of the Skyward series, or more commonly known as the Monstadt series, this great bow symbolises Dvalin’s association with the Anemo Archon, according to lore.
As a 5-star weapon, it’s considered to be one of the more powerful bows due to its strong stats. Boasting a solid Crit Rate and Crit DMG, its high ATK can be useful for either main or burst DPS characters.
Likely, characters like Tartaglia (Childe), Venti and Ganyu can greatly benefit from the weapon’s stats and ability except for Diona. Diona’s abilities are more in line with a supporting character than a highly offensive character, rendering the bow’s high ATK and passive useless.
How to get the Skyward Harp
Travelers will need to enter the Epitome Invocation Event Wish banner that will run from 14th December until 4th January 2022 for a chance to obtain Skyward Harp. As such, they will need to use the Epitomized Path to set a course for the 5-star claymore, Skyward Harp, to significantly increase its drop rate.

To learn more about the Event Wish banner, Travelers can navigate to the Wish screen in-game and look for the event details. You can choose your preferred weapon, play the game and wait for the drop to arrive.
Genshin Impact: The Skyward Harp’s stats and ability
- Rarity: 5-star
- ATK: 48-674
- Secondary Stat: 4,8% - 22,1% CRIT Rate
The weapon's passive (Special Ability), Echoing Ballad, will see the character’s CRIT DMG increase by 20%. There will be a 60% chance that attacks can inflict a small amount of damage in the area of effect (AoE) which will deal a tremendous physical ATK DMG by 125%. This only occurs once every four seconds.
Equipped on a good DPS or sub DPS character specialising in dealing high amounts of damage, it certainly holds up against more favourable weapons like the Amos’ Bow and Thundering Pulse.
